30th Annual Festival of Trees

Kelly Cup Golf Championship
The Kelly Cup Golf Championship began in 2001 and is named after the late William “Bill” Kelly, a generous patron of Sandhills Children’s Center. The
tournament will take place on March 2, 2026 at Forest Creek Golf Club. Players enjoy a relaxing round of golf with a meal provided afterward. There is also an auction of rounds of golf and trips, as well as Angel Tees with therapeutic “wish list” items. Registration will open on January 5, 2026. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Festival of Trees
This magnificent event promises fun for all ages with its stunning exhibit of holiday trees, wreaths and other holiday foliage. Items are available for bidding through an online auction, with proceeds going towards the incredible children at Sandhills Children’s Center. Opportunities to support this event include sponsorships, designing greenery, and volunteering! Contact us if you are interested in supporting this event!
Clays for Kids
Clays for Kids offers an exciting day in the great outdoors, combining friendly competition with a meaningful cause. Participants test their aim and skill while enjoying the fresh air and scenic surroundings. Whether you're a seasoned shooter or a first-timer, the event promises plenty of excitement and camaraderie. Beyond the sport, it's an opportunity to connect with others and provide needed support for Sandhills Children’s Center.
All registrations must be completed and paid no later than Monday, September 29, at 5:00 p.m.
Fairway for Futures Golf Tournament
Join us on September 7, 2025, at the Carolina Trace Country Club for the Fairway for Futures Golf Tournament, a fun and meaningful day on The Lakes Course to support music therapy and inclusive play for young children. Proceeds will fund music therapy sessions and outdoor musical playground instruments for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, with and without disabilities. Gather your team, enjoy a great day of golf, and help us build brighter futures through the power of music! Register here now!

The annual Backyard Bocce Bash is a fantastic day of fun, friendship, and friendly competition. Players of all levels gather to roll, cheer, and share laughs on the court. The lively atmosphere makes it easy to connect with others, whether you're a seasoned player or just rolling for fun. Best of all, every game played helps raise funds to support a great cause, making it a win for everyone involved.

The tournament takes place in March and has been held at Pinewild Country Club, Pinehurst No. 8 and, most recently, at Forest Creek Golf Club. Players enjoy a relaxing round of golf with a meal provided afterward. There is also an auction of rounds of golf and trips, as well as Angel Tees with therapeutic “wish list” items. Registration will be first come first served with priority given to Eagle, Par and Birdie sponsorships.

The Clays for Kids Competition will include 14 shooting stations plus the flurry shoot-out. DeWitt’s Outdoor Sports is a family-owned and operated business located in Richmond County, NC. Lewis Class scoring will be used to determine 1st Place Teams.
