3-4 Year Old Classroom
Sandhills Children’s Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time teacher to join our team in a 3–4 year-old classroom. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit developmental day center serving children with and without special needs in an inclusive, nurturing environment.
Qualifications:
* 4-year degree in Birth–Kindergarten, Elementary or Special Education
* Current Birth–Kindergarten Teaching License/Certification or Elementary or Special Education certification (required)
* Experience working with young children in an educational setting
* Strong commitment to inclusive practices and supporting children of all abilities
* Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

Associate Teachers & Substitutes
Hours: Part-time
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Qualifications:
High School Graduate
Experience working with preschool-age children (Birth -5 years of age)
Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood development
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to multitask
Self-motivated and able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Responsibilities:
Work within our daily daycare functions, policies, and procedures
Assist Lead Teacher in educating and supervising an assigned group of children at all times
Assist Lead Teacher in developing a program of attainable educational goals appropriate to the age and developmental level of the assigned group of children
Assist Lead Teacher in the safekeeping of equipment and material accessible to children
Assist in overall planning for the use of shared space in the daycare center
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with parents
Maintain records and share with appropriate staff members
Participate in related training opportunities as they become available
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor and/or Director
