The Baillie & Kelly Society honors those donors whose major contributions, accumulated through lifetime giving, have truly made a difference in thousands of children’s lives.  In our earliest beginnings, philanthropists, Elaine and Bob Baillie & Bill and Janie Kelly, committed their resources to the mission of Sandhills Children’s Center and its future.  During the past four decades, Sandhills Children’s Center has achieved a level of excellence to be admired among North Carolina’s developmental day programs.  Recognized as one of the largest centers in the state, Sandhills Children’s Center has grown from serving one child in 1970 to nearly 400 today.  Through their demonstration of leadership in consecutive giving, The Baillie Family and The Kelly Family have encouraged this community to realize the significance of caring for its children and ensuring that the Center will continue to thrive and do so in perpetuity.  Members of The Baillie & Kelly Society help the Center continue to provide leading-edge educational and therapeutic services through a highly trained staff, state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment, advanced preschool curriculums and an exceptional experience for children and their families.  Membership is based on cumulative contributions to Sandhills Children’s Center that exceed $25,000 and is granted for a lifetime.  Society members are honored at their respective levels of cumulative philanthropic support of Sandhills Children’s Center and receive permanent recognition in the lobby of the Center.  The Baillie & Kelly Society members receive invitations to special events and personal communications from the Chief Executive Officer of Sandhills Children’s Center. Members receive an invitation to the annual Chief Executive Officer’s Reception where new members are inducted into the Society.
