Throwing balls toward a target is the oldest game known to mankind. As early as 5000 B. C. the Egyptians played a form of bocce with polished rocks.  Even if you have never played, you can become a champion in one tournament.  Teams are made up of four people (men and/or women) who enjoy outdoor sports and can throw a two pound, two ounce ball.  Learn the game at the Friday evening Weichert Realtors Pairings Party at the Campbell House; It’s easy!  Light appetizers and adult beverages will be served at this casual party.  Gain bragging rights as the first team to win the Backyard Bocce Bash in the backyard of the Campbell House and keep the trophy until next year!  Organize a team, think of a clever team name and register soon.   All donations are tax deductible and provide much needed therapies for children.  Saturday’s tournament is an alcohol free event on town property.
